TB dialogues with Multisector Stakeholders
The second leg of the TB dialogues with multisector stakeholders continued in Upington, ZFM District, with the Northern Cape Department of Health in collaboration with the National Department of Health. In the continued effort to end TB by 2035, the Department of Health guided by the National TB Recovery Plan 3.0 has intensified its efforts to engage with stakeholders and come up with solutions that are community-driven to find the missing TB cases in our Province.

The dialogue had a wide range target audience in attendance, Government Departments such as the Office of the Premier Communication were there and their presence in inter-governmental partnership, in spreading the TB message is very key and of paramount importance in the effort to empower and share key messaging that will assist our people in making informed better health-seeking behaviour decisions and receiving care early by preventing the spread of TB. Other stakeholders in attendance included Youth formations, Religious leaders, Traditional Health Practitioners and the district office, all identified key stakeholders have an important role to play in carrying out the message and addressing the stigma faced and experienced in the communities.
