Executive Mayor Expresses Gratitude

Today the Executive Mayor of the ZF Mgcawu District Municipality, Cllr Maryna Basson honoured mothers, grandmothers and women who are like mothers to others albeit not biological. Mother’s Day was celebrated earlier in May, however, the Executive Mayor ensured that the month does not pass without expressing gratitude and appreciation to the female employees at the District Municipality.

The Executive Mayor said she was thankful to the hardworking women for their dedication and commitment to public service. She emphasized that Mothers have a profound influence in society and their unique contribution must be acknowledged. The ZFM Women each received a single rose with a card, as a small gesture of appreciation.
