Annual Thusong Service Week

The custodian of the Thusong Service Centre Week Northern Cape Provincial Government and the different Government Departments held a Service Delivery Day in Kakamas in the Kai !Garib Local Municipality as part of the annual Thusong Service Centre Week that is observed between 18 and 22 September 2023.

This week is aimed at creating awareness of the important services that the Thusong Service Centres across the country offer to citizens is observed under the theme “building a professional public service for quality service delivery”. Today offered residents an opportunity to access different government services and services from non-profit organizations that were brought to their doorstep. Residents were encouraged to make use of the services that the government has brought to their doorsteps to access government services.

The Mayor of the Kai !Garib Local Municipality, Councillor Marshal Matthys, encouraged residents to not let this opportunity go to waste as the government is continuously working towards bringing services closer to its people.
