MINISTER OF COGTA ISSUES DIRECTIONS ON MUNICIPAL OPERATIONS AND GOVERNANCE 07 MAY 2020

The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma has issued Directions in schedule, in terms of regulation Section 27(2)(f) of the Disaster Management Act, 2002 (Act No. 57 of 2002). The purpose of these Directions is to guide municipalities and municipal entities on how to perform their various legislated functions, including the adoption of integrated development plans (IDPs) and operations relating to municipal services and revenue collection.
